Not only skill was given to Betsalel
But also the ability to teach
Others to work with individual will
So that the whole design was felt by each.
Not as hired laborers the people wrought
But as those wrapped up in a work of prayer.
When all the works were finished they were brought
To Moshe, who alone could join and rear,
Through a final grant of wisdom and of strength,
The Tabernacle. And the Divine
Presence embraced it, filled its breadth and length
And height with cloud and glory, speech and sign --
This holiest thing fashioned of holy things,
Sum of their actions and their reckonings.
