Leviticus 21 - 24

Of the constraints that hem the priestly life
To make the man a vessel for the shrine;
For whom he may profane himself to mourn,
Which daughter of his people take to wife;
What blemishes debar him from the altar,
Nor may he sacrifice in unclean state;
Who among his household may partake
Of portions he brings home from sacred slaughter;
Then of the festivals that ring the week
And year: of Sabbath Day and Passover,
Of seven weeks for counting of the omer
Till the holy feast upon the fiftieth day,
Of shofar and atonement-fast midway
In the count of months, Moshe was told to speak.
